- Water near electrics: water coming through a ceiling, round a light fitting or near sockets. Switch that circuit off at the consumer unit before anything else.
- No water at all: nothing from any tap, once you have checked with the neighbours that it is not a mains outage.
- No heating or hot water in freezing weather: particularly with a baby or an elderly or unwell person in the house.
- Sewage or no working toilet: the only toilet in the property blocked or overflowing, or sewage coming back up through a gully, bath or shower.

No. £110 for the first hour and £45 per additional half hour, plus the cost of parts, at any hour of any day including bank holidays, with no call-out fee.
How fast will someone arrive?
Usually within 60 minutes across London. You get a time for your postcode when you call, and if it will be longer than usual we say so.
What should I do while I wait?
Water off at the stopcock, electrics off at the consumer unit if water is anywhere near them, cold taps open to drain the system, and photographs for your insurer. Ten minutes of that prevents more damage than the fastest van in the fleet.
