How much does an emergency plumber cost?
£110 for the first hour, £45 per additional half hour, the same figure at 3am on Christmas Day as on a Tuesday afternoon. No call-out fee. Most single-fault emergencies land between £110 and £280 all in.
How fast will you actually get here?
A typical London arrival is around 52 minutes. When you ring we give you the real number for your postcode at that moment, including when it's bad news.
Do you charge a call-out fee?
No. You pay for time and parts, never for the van turning up.
Do you do non-emergency work too?
Yes, bathrooms, boiler installations, servicing, drainage surveys and landlord certificates. Same engineers, same guarantee, booked around your diary instead of your disaster.
Are your engineers Gas Safe registered?
Every engineer who touches gas carries their Gas Safe ID card. Our registration number is on every page, verify it on the Gas Safe Register in thirty seconds.
Are you actually open 24 hours, or is that an answering service?
Twenty-four hours, genuinely, including Christmas Day. The number goes to someone who can dispatch an engineer, not to a call centre that takes a message and rings you back in the morning. If we cannot get to you in a sensible time we say so on that call rather than booking you and hoping.

We work across all 33 London boroughs and the M25 commuter belt, and every area we cover has its own page listing the arrival time we actually record for that postcode. If you are outside it, tell us where you are and we will say so straight away rather than sending someone on a two-hour drive and charging you for it.
What is the difference between an emergency and a same-day booking?
An emergency is water you cannot stop, no heat, no water, or a gas smell, we come out now, at the same hourly rate whatever the time. A same-day booking is for things that are urgent but safe to wait a few hours, like a failed shower or a slow leak into a bucket. Same-day is cheaper simply because it takes less rearranging, and we will tell you which one you actually need.
