What causes night and weekend emergencies in London
- Bursts and freezes. Cold snaps don’t keep office hours, the 2am flood is the classic night call.

Do you really not charge extra at night?
Really. £110 first hour, £45 per additional half hour, plus the cost of parts, at 3am on a bank holiday as on a Tuesday afternoon. The night premium other firms charge is a choice, not a cost.
Who actually turns up?
Our own named engineers, the same people on the Engineers page, on a rota. No subcontracted stranger whose name we don't know either.
What counts as “can't wait until morning”?
Water you can't stop, no heat with vulnerable people, sewage coming up. Any gas concern goes to the National Gas Emergency Service on 0800 111 999, not to us. Genuinely unsure? Ring anyway, we'd rather talk you out of a callout than charge for one you didn't need.
How fast at night?
The same as daytime: usually within 60 minutes in London, and often quicker on empty roads.
