Privacy notice

This notice explains what we do with your personal details when you call us, message us or use a form on this website. We have kept it short and plain on purpose.

Who we are

Emergency Plumber London Ltd (company number 12326959), 6a Crescent Rd, London, N22 7RS, is responsible for your details, and is the “controller” under UK data protection law. For anything about your data, email [email protected] or call 07861 933265.

What we collect

When you use a form: your name and phone number, and anything else you choose to give us: email address, postcode, the service you need and your message.
When you call or message us: your number, what you tell us about the job, your address, and any photos you send on WhatsApp.
When we do a job: the address, what we did, what it cost, and the invoice and payment record.
When you visit the site: if you accept cookies, Google Analytics and Metricool record how you use the site and which advert or link brought you here. If you decline, they are not loaded. The site keeps your cookie choice in your browser so it does not ask again.
To stop spam: a scrambled (hashed) form of your internet address is kept for a day to limit repeated form sending. It cannot be turned back into your address.

Why we use it

To reply to you, give you a price and do the work you ask for. This is the legal basis of taking steps towards, and carrying out, a contract with you.
To keep invoices and job records, because tax law requires it.
To measure and improve the website and our adverts, only if you accept analytics cookies. This is based on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser.

We never sell your details, and we do not use them for marketing unless you ask us to.

Who sees it

Our own staff and the engineer who comes to you.
Companies that run services for us: Cloudflare (website hosting and the enquiry form), Google (email, and analytics if you accept) and Metricool (analytics if you accept). They may only use your details to provide that service to us.
Anyone the law requires us to share them with, such as HMRC.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become a job: 12 months, then deleted.
Job records, invoices and payment records: six years after the job, then deleted.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the details we hold about you, ask us to correct them, ask us to delete them (unless we must keep them by law), or object to how we use them. Email [email protected] and we will reply within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your details, please tell us first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Changes

If we change how we use your details, we will update this page. Last updated 18 October 2026.
