What this covers in Manchester

Planned plumbing is everything that is not an emergency: a bathroom you have been meaning to do, a tap that has dripped for a year, pipework that has leaked three times and needs replacing rather than patching again. It is surveyed first, quoted as a fixed itemised price, and booked to dates you get in writing.

Questions we get asked
Do you charge for a survey or a quote?
No. We survey, quote as a fixed itemised price and confirm dates in writing, all before you commit to anything. A quote that depends on what we find is not a quote, and we would rather spend the hour looking properly than adjust the figure later.
Can you work around us?
Yes, that is most of what planned work involves. Dates are agreed rather than assigned, and on bigger jobs we sequence so you are never without water or a working bathroom overnight. Occupied houses are the normal case, not the exception.
Are your planned prices the same as your emergency prices?
Planned work is quoted as a fixed price for the job rather than by the hour, so it is usually better value than the same work done reactively. The published from-prices on each service page are real starting figures, not teasers.
Who actually turns up?
The same Gas Safe registered engineers who run our emergency shift, not a subcontractor booked for the day. It is why we can quote confidently and why the 12-month workmanship guarantee means something.
What this means in Greater Manchester

Local conditions we work around

Soft water is quietly good news for planned work in Manchester: fittings last, showers do not fur up, and a cylinder installed here will outlive the same unit in London. The complication is the housing. Mill and warehouse conversions run long horizontal waste routes that were retrofitted into buildings never designed for bathrooms, and the byelaw terraces share rear drainage where responsibility is genuinely ambiguous. Both are established at the survey rather than discovered halfway through.
