Almost never. A running toilet is a £15–£40 internal part, fitted within our £95–£150 repair band. Replacement is for cracked pans, obsolete cisterns and style choices, not drips.
What does a new toilet cost fitted?
From £180 fit-only on a straightforward swap, from about £320 supplied and fitted with a solid mid-range unit. Wall-hung frames quoted after a look at the wall.
Can you match my old close-coupled cistern?
Sometimes, discontinued cisterns are the one genuine reason a repair becomes a replacement. We check part availability before quoting either way.
