My Saniflo hums but doesn't pump
Classic jammed blade or failed membrane, a repair visit, not a replacement. Stop using it (the motor burns out if it runs dry) and call.
Can I put a full bathroom on one?
Yes, the larger units handle WC, basin and shower together if pipe runs and lift height are within spec. The survey does that arithmetic before anything is bought.
Why does mine smell?
Usually a venting or descale issue, occasionally a membrane. In hard-water London a yearly descale keeps them sweet, five minutes with the right fluid.
